Expected learning outcome• choose an appropriate method of analysis;
• analyze data using analysis of ANOVA;
• analyze data using multiple regression;
• explain the principles for using logistic regression;
• explain the principles for using survival data;
• perform ”goodness-of-fit” tests;
• avoid classical inferende errors (e.g. mass significance, pseudoreplication);
• interpret a statistical data analysis with more than two variables.
Subject overviewGeneral linear models, including analysis of variance ANOVA and multiple regression, logistic regression, survival analysis, and problems of design and inference.
