Course introduction
To give participants a basic theoretical understanding of the principles of modelling robots, planning their trajectories and controlling them to enable them to participate in robotic research.

Expected learning outcome


Subject overview
Robot co-ordinates, direct kinematics, inverse kinematics, work space analysis, redundancy of robots, robot dynamics, dynamical methods for trajectory planning

Prerequisites for participating in the exam
None

Assessment and marking:
Project exercise with external evaluation. Marks according to the 13-point marking scale.The project is an individual take-home exercise. A prerequisite for taking the examination is the approval of a number of mini-projects. Examination in oppositional terms only after approval of the study board.

The teaching method is based on three phase model.
