Course introduction
The projects opens with a course aiming at giving knowledge about qualitative research methods and skills in carrying out research interviews to obtain information about communication and learning. These competences are being used to investigate the communication of scientific/biological knowledge in one or several contexts as for instance in teaching, in museum activities or in the media.

Expected learning outcome


Subject overview
The project will focus on the communication of the scientific/biological problems which have been dealt with in the first four semesters of the degree course.

Prerequisites for participating in the exam
None

Assessment and marking:
The final project and the oral defence of this will be evaluated with one mark. It is possible to carry though the project individually or in a group. External examiner. Marks according to the 13-scale.

The teaching method is based on three phase model.

Remarks
The work with the projects should be organized so that certain skills are used (written communication and IT eg.). A more detailed overview of the possibilities will be developed.

The course is taught for the last time in the autumn semester of 2006 and will be replaced by BF507.
