The students must have completed the first year.
Course introductionThe aim of the course is to teach the students how to write an article on a professional topic to target groups of non-professionals.
Expected learning outcomeAfter the course the students will be able to:
• evaluate and organize the collected material
• focus the material to the target group
• choose a linguistic style suitable for the target group
• write accurately, precisely and creatively
• give and take feedback
Subject overviewThe main themes of the course are: What makes a text difficult to read? How to overcome the difficulties. How to write accurately and creatively. The writing process, coaching and feedback will form part of the course.

Assessment and marking:
A written paper including an article and an analysis. Internal marking with a 7-scale mark.
Expected working hours
The teaching method is based on three phase model.
Undervisningen gennemføres som værkstedsundervisning med en vekselvirkning mellem teoretiske oplæg, skriveøvelser, diskussion og gruppearbejde. Hertil kommer skriftlige hjemmeopgaver.
