None
Academic preconditions:
1 year of nature science studies at university level.
Course introductionStudents are trained in explaining and popularizing scientific work and findings in written presentations, by a series of lectures, exercises, discussions and an excursion. Guest lecturers with special expertise in science communication are invited to lead some of the instructions. A one-day excursion presents the students to science outreach in practice at a newspaper or press office.
QualificationsThe students will obtain a fundamental background, in theory and in practice, in storytelling and in presenting scientific results by writing to, primarily, a general audience. Direct feedback from teachers and fellow students will provide personal coaching to improve the student’s communication techniques.

- Written assignments, which is evaluated by the 7-mark scale, internal censorship. (04013702)

The teaching method is based on three phase model.
Intro phase: 10 hours
Skills training phase: 30 hours, hereof:
- Excursion: 10 hours

Study phase: 150 hours
