Academic preconditions:
Courses in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. For SDU students BM02 or BM115, and Molecular Biology 2 (BM20) or Prokaryote Molecular Biology (BM114)
Course introductionTo give a basic understanding of the use of plasmids as experimental systems, as tools for cloning and as tools in analytical molecular biology, and to give understanding of current ideas about DNA replication and cell cycle control in prokaryotes.

Prerequisites for participating in the exam

Assessment and marking:
Report and written examination. Grade according to the Danish 13-point scale with external examiner. The laboratory exercises must be approved before participation in the written examination.
