Academic preconditions:
Anatomy (SU501) eller equivalent is presumed known.
Course introductionThe course aims to give a general introduction to histological and cytological techniques of which some will be trained in the practical part of the course. The student will obtain adequate knowledge to be able to plan projects comprising histological analyzes.

Prerequisites for participating in the exam
Participation in laboratory exercises is a prerequisite for taking part in the examination. Pass/fail, internal evaluation by teacher.
Assessment and marking:
Report. External assessment, pass/fail.
Expected working hours
The teaching method is based on three phase model.
Intro phase: 20 hours
Skills training phase: 14 hours, hereof:
- Tutorials: 2 hours
- Laboratory exercises: 12 hours
Educational activities
Language
This course is taught in Danish or English, depending on the lecturer. However, if international students participate, the teaching language will always be English.
