60 timer laboratorieøvelser i ugerne 10-13 i lab 5 & 6.

Academic preconditions:
Inorganic Chemistry A (KU 03 / iot: KC-KU03) must have been attended.
Course introductionTo obtain knowledge of a variety of synthetic techniques and methods.
Expected learning outcomeSubject overviewA number of organic, inorganic and organometallic syntheses are performed, of which the students´ knowledge and experience is so far limited, e.g. syntheses in inert atmosphere, syntheses with small amounts of substances, highly reactive compounds, organometallic compounds etc.

Assessment and marking:
Approval of laboratory journal and verbal student presentation. Passed/not passed. Internal evaluation by a teacher.
Expected working hours
The teaching method is based on three phase model.
Laboratorieøvelser inkl. enkelte demonstrationer af synteseteknik og laboratorieudstyr.

This course is taught in English.
Remarks
60 hours should be planned to fit in the 88 hours of laboratory open time. An organizational meeting will be held 7 days before the course start. Time and place for meeting will be advertized on elearn 3 weeks before course start.
This course is taught in both English and Danish.
