Der vil blive holdt et aftalemøde tirsdag den 20. januar kl. 14 i kollokvierummet på instituttet.

Her vil skemaet blive fastlagt 4 sammenhængende ugentlige timer. Det er altid meget kompliceret, da vi har studerende fra mange forskellige steder, så det er vigtigt at være til stede, hvis man vil gøre sin indflydelse gældende.

Academic preconditions:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Course introduction
The course aims at providing the students with experimental and educational skills which enables them to teach chemistry in the Danish "gymnasium" (high school / upper secondary school).

Expected learning outcome
At the end of the course, the students are able to:

  1. perform chemical teaching experiments after a present protocol.
  2. estimate the risks of chemical teaching experiments.
  3. perspectivate the chemical teaching experiments in teaching and educational context.
  4. describe the chemistry teaching in high school/sixth form college concerning to educational plans, level and text books.
Subject overview
Selected chemical experiments for demonstration, pupil experiments and major educational plans within the areas of general, inorganic and organic chemistry.

  • Haagensen & Parbo: Kemiske demonstrationsforsøg.
  • Håndbog: Risikovejledningen Fysik, Astronomi og Kemi.
  • Håndbog: Liste over farlige stoffer, Miljøstyrelsen.

Prerequisites for participating in the exam
None

Assessment and marking:
  1. Oral exam graded according to the 7-scale. External censorship.

Reexamination in the same exam period or immediately thereafter. The mode of exam at the reexamination may differ from the mode of exam at the ordinary exam.

The teaching method is based on three phase model.
