Academic preconditions:
Chemistry A (KE 04), Chemistry of the elements (KE 03).Organic Chemistry A (KO 02) must be attended simulataneously at the latest. Analytical Spectroscopy (KM 01) is recommended.
Course introductionThe aim of the course is to train the students in i) common operations in the organic-chemical laboratory, ii) correct and adequate safety precautions in the laboratory, iii) to perform simple syntheses to a level corresponding to "Organic Syntheses" and "Inorganic Syntheses" preparations, iv) searching relevant chemical literature.
