Expected learning outcome


Subject overview
Finite-dimensional affine spaces, hyper planes, convex manifolds and their topology; convex functions, conjugation, subdifferentiability, minimizin gna d Kuhn-Tucker’s theorem.

Prerequisites for participating in the exam
None

Assessment and marking:
A 4 hour written examination with textbook, notes, etc. External examiner. Marks according to the 13-point marking scale. An exam is only given in seme4sters when the course has been taught, except by application to the study board.

The teaching method is based on three phase model.
