Course introduction
The course will enable students to use academic knowledge to formulate a value-adding project in practice and enter into an innovation process as a creative collaboration partner.

Expected learning outcome
After finishing the course, the student is expected to be able to:

  • Explain central concepts in the field of innovation.
  • Select and use relevant idea-generating, idea-developing and idea-selecting tools in relation to a specific academic project.
  • Prepare, present and evaluate a project plan.

Assessment and marking:
Portfolio examination and an oral presentation, assessed together. Internal assessment, Passed/Failed. (0002132)

Date of exam
The ordinary exam takes place on June 28, 2016 and June 29, 2016
The re-examination takes place on August 12, 2016

Expected working hours
The teaching method is based on three phase model.

Project groups are established based on specific innovative idea proposals. The project groups work together throughout the semester on developing the idea's business potential and train in the presentation of business potential through pitching. Note that attendance is compulsory on the following course days: 3rd March, 17th March and 7th April. In addition, attendance is compulsory at the exam workshop, which takes place all day on 28th and 29th June.
