Course introductionThe aim of the course is that the student attain a knowledge about the statistical methods that are used in population analysis based upon data collected from human skeletal material. During the lectures aspects of statistical population theories are taught and during the tutorials the methods are applied in practise.
Expected learning outcomeAt the end of the course the student is expected to be able to:
find and use relevant literature.
independently be able to produce analytical models for the purpose of drawing conclusions about life in prehistory on the basis of skeletal material.

- Latency period and the distribution of debut age for diseases in the past
