DM01 must be passed and DM02 mandatory assignment completed.
Course introductionTo give the students theoretical and practical knowledge of the software development process, including the phases in the development, methods and notation, the use of tools in the process, and the documentation of the product.
Expected learning outcomeSubject overviewRequirement specification, object-oriented analysis and design. Design methods and tools. Object-oriented programming languages, libraries and tools. Design patterns.

Prerequisites for participating in the exam
None
Assessment and marking:
A project and an oral examination. The project is divided into a number of individual assignments concerning different aspects of software development, which may be solved i groups of 2-3 students. A combined grade is given. The project contributes 1/3 of the final grade for the course. An oral examination is individual and concerns the project as well as the overall syllabus of the course. The oral examination contributes 2/3 of the combined grade for the course. Marks according to the 13-point marking scale. External examiner. Examination in oppositional terms only after accept from the study board.

The teaching method is based on three phase model.
