• describe the phylogenetic systems and general evolutionary trends
• prepare the organisms for microscopy
• apply the gathered insights in a the systematic determination of the organisms using keys, and account for the criteria used in the classification
• analyze the anatomi and morfology of the organisms and identify important structures
• describe the morfological variation between the organisms and their associated structures within a given taxon
• evaluate the coupling between form, function, and the organisms' adaptation to their environment
Subject overview
Systematics and phylogeny of algae, plants, and fungi. The evolution, anatomy, morphology, development, life cycles, physiology and ecology of selected groups. Classification of selected organisms to the level of genus or species
Literature
Each module is graded according to the 7-scale. External censorship.
Re-examination after 4th quarter.
Date of exam
The ordinary exam takes place on January 11, 2010
The re-examination takes place on June 29, 2010
